I recently went on the road trip to Canada from California, I found the inspiration to start this blog. I had some great conversations that pushed me to get this started. I have wanted to do this for a few years now. TRAVEL IS MY PASSION!!! (yes the whole sentence needed to be in all caps) I am not sure where to begin. So here is goes…
My first real trip was to Africa in June 2015. This trip changed my life. My high school friend invited me on a 14 day trip around Tanzania. It was such an eye opening experience to travel to the continent where my ancestors came from. The african people made me feel right at home. Some of them even thought I was from Tanzania.

The best thing about to the trip were the people I met. The people in my group of 13 and the people along the way. We had the best tour guides (in picture above) to show us Tanzania. They also taught us a lot about the culture and language. The group I went with were from all parts of the world: England, Australia, America, and Canada. We were from different walks of life experiencing something new together.

We went on a safari about halfway through the trip. That was the best thing I have ever done. The greatest adventure… I haven’t been that close to my spirit animal before (insert elephant emoji…lol) To see all of those animals up close and personal is something I will never forget. Did you know that giraffes can camouflage in the wild? They blend into trees like no ones business. Seeing a lion in real life was exhilarating. I was in the front seat of the jeep with my window down when we pulled up to a pride of lions. I tried to roll my window up in fear of our of them jumping through it. The tour guide told me to roll it back down because the lions weren’t going to eat us because we were in this metal box and there were plenty of buffalo around that taste better.
This trip changed my life and spurred my drive to visit all 7 continents. Since 2015, I have been to 5 of the 7. I have South America and Antartica left. This blog will explore the other 4 continents I have visited. I’ll also be providing tips and tricks for booking the best trips, how I plan my trips, where I find discounts, great locations you might not have thought of and much more…
